I was born outside Philadelphia, PA and raised most of my childhood in Shelton, Connecticut. When I was ten, my mother led me to the Lord at the greatest place one can ever come to Christ – in the bathroom…next to the “other” throne.
Due to a move, I spent my High School years in Lakeville, Minnesota where I made lifelong friends while attending Hosanna! Lutheran Church. When it came time for college, I left for Pennsylvania to Messiah College and graduated with a Family Studies degree. It is here where I met the love of my life, Andrea. Within a few years, the Lord blessed us with twin boys.
After graduation from Messiah College and a few secular case management and counseling roles, the desire to help people with Christ-centered counseling grew in my heart, so I enrolled in Biblical Theological Seminary (now Missio Seminary) for a degree in Biblical Counseling. Nearing graduation, I felt the Lord calling me to start up a Christian counseling center in the Poconos. So I did.
Foundations Christian Counseling Services was established in 2002 as a single office with only myself. Since then, the Lord expanded the ministry to serve the entire Northeast, PA and Binghamton, NY areas with 20 counselors and 12 locations.
In this time, the Lord also used me to help start a church plant, Cornerstone Community Church. After a number of years, The membership asked me to serve as Associate Pastor. After seven years, my role changed from Associate Pastor to Counseling Pastor, where I presently remain.
